Colossus – Next Major Update Coming December 1st!

Hello everyone!
We’re excited to announce that the next version of Colossus will be released on December 1st, 2025. You’ll be able to download it directly through this newsletter once it’s live!

This update marks a major milestone for us — not just in features, but also in polish and atmosphere. Today we’d like to give you a small glimpse into what’s been happening behind the scenes… without spoiling too much, of course.

🏡 Life in the Village

One of the biggest gameplay changes is the introduction of separate housing types. Families now live in houses, while workers stay in barracks — giving the village a more natural and believable rhythm. It also opens the door for future systems like families saving up to build their own homes!

🌾 Farming and Production

We’ve expanded the production system with new workshops, professions, and resources. The farm is now a true all-rounder, producing not only food like milk, eggs, grain, and cattle, but also materials such as wool.
Many of these resources can now be further processed in specialized buildings like the mill, bakery, or tailor — turning your village into a lively web of production and trade.

🎨 A New Look and Feel

You’ll immediately notice our new GUI makeover, which gives Colossus a cleaner and more immersive look. We’ve also overhauled character models, added villager characteristics and levels, and expanded the upgrade system — starting with the woodlogger’s building.

Alongside these big changes, we’ve:

Fixed countless bugs
Balanced resource production
Improved performance
Expanded the overall feel and depth of the world

This update sets the stage for everything to come next.
